Neither monism nor dualism do justice to the mystery of the Holy Trinity because monism confuses the uncreated with the created and dualism divides the uncreated from the created.
The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father to abide in the Son, revealing the uncreated glory of God. The co-inherent union of the uncreated and the created in Christ is the Spirit’s secret, glorification, revealed in every breath.
The Virgin in the temple bears witness to the mysteries of divine-human union in the Holy Name ‘I AM,’ revealing the glorifying mysteries of the awakened heart.
The Holy Nativity declares the eternal birth of the uncreated Word in the heart, to which the Holy Spirit bears witness in the uncreated power and glory of the Name.
All temple mysteries are theophanies of the Holy of Holies, which Christ’s Holy Chrismation opens to us to save us, anointing us in his Name.
