Christ never ceases to impart the Great Peace and the Holy Spirit never ceases to reveal the Great Peace of the Name. “All thy children shall be taught of the Lord and Great shall be the Peace of thy children” (Isaiah 54:13). Children of God, taught by the Lord, led by the Spirit, come to know the glory of the Great Peace, completing temporal incompleteness with timeless completeness. When vainglory falls short of Great Peace, wisdom turns again and sees, restored by the ineffable glory of the hallowed Name. The Oneness of God is Thrice-Holy Trinity, so the Name, too, is thrice-holy, revealing wisdom’s insight into purification, through illumination with glorification. Taught by the Spirit to listen to the Logos, wisdom discerns the mysteries of glory in the Name. Great Peace descends from heaven to earth, ascending in turn to highest heaven, filling heavenly realms on earth with glory, as in heaven.
Great Peace comes to meet God’s children from the age to come, bearing witness to God’s coming Kingdom, the eschatological realm of wisdom and glory in the peace of the Holy Spirit, who never ceases to pray for the salvation of all. Great Peace completes temporal incompleteness with the timeless completeness of glory. The way of the Name is the living truth of glory, ineffably awakening to peace in the heart, revealing glory to wisdom in realms of reciprocal abiding. Wisdom never ceases to unveil Great Peace anew in the presence of timeless glory, restoring the communion of elders with saints, renewing trust in Great Peace, embracing all. The Name reveals the oneness of God in everyone, restoring glory to the Father through the Son, renewing communion in the Holy Spirit. Again and again, wisdom bears witness to Great Peace, uniting heaven and earth.
The function of Elijah was always to turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to the fathers, renewing holy tradition for the Day of the Name (Malachi 4:5-6). The function of Elijah on the Day of the Name, is initiatic and crucial if whole-hearted metanoia is to truly turn and see. Elijah is the prophet of pure prayer from generation to generation, renewing tradition with Great Peace. Through Elijah, the Holy Spirit inspires catalytic prophecy and cauterising prayer, renewing living tradition with glorification, invoking the Name with hallowing remembrance. Great Peace reaches down into the turgid depths of despair, restoring whole-hearted trust, curing nihilism in an age of relativism. Completeness of glory rises with healing wings when resurrection of wisdom completes the reign of the Name, opening heavenly realms to Great Peace, revealing the Holy Spirit of truth on earth, deifying saints in the Holy of Holies.
