A winter sunrise reminds the heart that the Father generates the Son at centre in our midst, and the Spirit proceeds from the Father to abide in the Son, here, where all centres coincide.
God shines forth like sunrise in snow clad hills, the soul as pure and limpid as a frozen morn. The Spirit bears witness to uncreated light generating light through light within a triune radiance.
Sunrise announces a radiant day as the injunction to turn and see reveals nothing created here where God reveals God through God. Nothing interferes between wisdom and glory in the hallowed Name, for nothing obstructs God’s union with Christ when the Spirit purifies the heart to welcome God’s kingdom come.
