Wisdom blesses the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of God’s hallowed Name. The Kingdom is spontaneously present as the grace of glory when the Father generates the Son in us, and the Spirit proceeds from the Father to abide in the Son, praying ‘Abba, Father,’ in our midst.
Triune mysteries remain ineffable even when wisdom discerns their glory in uncreated light. Stillness beholds Triune grace unveiling the Name in glory and wisdom beholds the Word restore glory to God, through the Spirit’s prayer. Hallowing wisdom gathers the scattered into the Father’s primordial glory by bearing witness in broken hearts to the grace of the Name. Saving grace is not restricted by conditioned conditioning but overfows unconditionally from Triune glory, extinguishing all that obstructs grace or interferes with its gentle illumination.
This triune flow is shown in many icons of the Holy Trinity, inspired by the Trinity Icon of Saint Andrei Rublev. Christ beholds the Father and the Spirit beholds the union of the Father and the Son revealing the uncreated flow of translucent energy in Triune glory. Everything without exception partakes of this flow, glory born of the Father as the Son’s grace, in which the Spirit eternally abides. Wisdom’s eternal birth gives being, well-being and eternal being to all as the timeless fulness of graced completeness. This birth takes place in uncreated light, as Saint Symeon the New Theologian bore witness in his Hymns, and Hesychast elders, poor in spirit, bear witness with the saints even to this day.
